Look at these fresh spy shots of the new Volkswagen Tiguan running its pre-production tests on snow-packed roads of wintertime Sweden.
The 2021 Tiguan SUV does not look too different from its current version in terms of exterior design (watch the video if you want to compare). That said, the camo wrap conceals most of the details. We still expect the car to inherit its LED headlight tech from the Mk8 Golf and sport a revised front bumper with upscaled air intakes and the new VW logo. At the rear end, we expect the taillights and the bumper to be new.
The engine availability remains unknown. In all likelihood, the 2021 VW Tiguan will become available as a mild hybrid, in addition to the existing gas and diesel versions.
