Volkswagen has taken its new Tiguan SUV out for some winter testing, so let us look at the changes.
Despite the abundant fake bodywork, the car is definitely being tested in its production body. Decals on the lights all around and the radiator grille are applied so as to disguise the new generation as the old one (watch the video and compare if you want to). Fake exhaust tips help, too, but it is still clear as day that the car underneath all the mascara is new.
The upcoming generation of the Tiguan looks sleek and aerodynamic compared to the current one while referencing the marque’s recent EVs in design, in particular the ID.4. It is coming based on an improved version of the MQB platform and is expected to ship with a new selection of electrified engines.
