The second design iteration of the Volkswagen Tiguan (see video) debuted nearly 7 years ago, so it was about time for a successor to appear. It is now official that the third generation will arrive in the fall; in the meantime, the teaser campaign has just begun.
The crossover SUV pictured in the gallery below is fully clad in camo, but there is still no mistaking its smoother, less-boxy silhouette not unlike that of the ID.4 EV. The manufacturer says the new car is 32 mm (1.3 inch) longer and 5 mm (0.2 in) taller while keeping the width and the wheelbase unchanged.
Although there are no cabin shots, we know that the most basic Tiguan version will ship with a 12.9-inch infotainment system, while higher trim levels will get a 15-inch display as standard.
