Volkswagen Group has taken the wraps off its facelifted Touareg SUV for China, revealing old looks combined with new equipment and options.
In its most affordable spec, the flagship off-roader now comes equipped with a more environment-conscious 2.0-liter turbo-four engine rated at 245 hp (183 kW), which connects to an eight-speed automatic transmission and AWD system.
The 3.0-liter V6 (340 hp / 254 kW) and 3.0-liter diesel (249 hp / 185 kW) options continue to be available without major changes.
New equipment notably includes the system for preventing frontal and lateral collisions. The cruise control also boasts improved algorithms.
