Volkswagen AG has finally revealed the first official video showing the third-generation update of the famous Touareg SUV. The 2018 vehicle has shed some of its test mule camouflage for the shoot, which enabled us to get a closer look at its lighting and exterior.
The newcomer likely won’t premiere until the Beijing Automotive Exhibition starting on March 30, 2018. Still, spy photos that captured a 2018 VW Touareg during a product launch ad shoot give us a pretty consistent picture of what it’s going to look like, even despite the somewhat low image quality.
The third-generation Volkswagen Touareg is going to be based on the modular platform known as the MLB Evo, which had previously been used for the Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus. Its engine palette lists several turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines 2 and 3 liters large.
