Volkswagen fans may finally rejoice: the long-anticipated reveal of the next Touareg SUV will occur in late March 2018. Several interior shots of the car have lately been posted by the company on its official website.
In the dashboard area, the attention is immediately drawn to two touch-enabled displays. One serves as the instrument panel, while the other can be used to control the infotainment system. This is the patented Innovision Cockpit you may have heard about before.
Other than that, the interior design of the latest Volkswagen Touareg can be described using such words as ‘stylish’ and ‘minimalistic’, which more or less extends to all recent cars issued by the brand.
As we have told in an earlier story, the new Volkswagen Touareg will benefit from the MLB Evo modular car platform which offers reduced weight alongside with increased durability and safety.
