Volkswagen has released a teaser vid showing the innovative headlights of its updated Touareg model for Europe. The SUV will hit the spotlight tomorrow, May 24, 2023.
One of the main highlights of the update comes in the form of new matrix headlight tech. Dubbed the IQ.Light HD, it lets each headlight unit to be composed of as many as 19,200 LED units, resulting in higher lighting quality. The taillights will also be redesigned, and the VW badge on the tailgate will be illuminated. The new Touareg will be Volkswagen’s first vehicle in Europe to feature a backlit badge.
Other than that, the radiator grille and the bumpers look redesigned. The interior will probably stay the same except for minor details, though.
