VW Great Britain has unveiled a special take on the Transporter T6.1 Sportline, called the Black Edition. The van rocks racing-inspired trim pieces, has some additional equipment, and rides 30 mm (1.2”) lower than stock.
The latter is courtesy of Eibach coilovers. The body kit consists of aggressive bumpers at both ends, side skirts and a spoiler. A red bar adorns the radiator grille, and sporty-looking 18-inch wheels are available along with 90% tinted windows.
The new Transporter can be purchased in commercial and passenger van variants. Both come powered by the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 204 PS (201 hp / 150 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) in conjunction with a 7-speed DSG.
