Volkswagen has released a video previewing the next-generation Transporter van.
You can already check out the automaker’s official website in Germany to learn about the main specifications of the van and the trim list planned for sale. According to the online configurator app, the commercial version starts from €43,800 and the passenger version from €48,400.
All that remains secret at this point is the appearance of the van. We already know that the new Transporter is a rebadged Ford Transit Custom, but Volkswagen pretends that it’s something much more exciting than that. At any rate, the video only shows a dark silhouette of the van against the background of its predecessors.
The premiere is expected to take place at the IAA Transportation expo in Hannover, Germany in September.
