The renowned Swedish car manufacturer Volvo Cars has plans to reveal its latest project, the small SUV XC40, at this year’s LA Auto Show in Los Angeles, USA. Design, technical parameters of the new car and the company’s new subscription plan, Care by Volvo, will all be discussed in detail during the presentation.
The off-roader will be based on the new CMA platform, a joint development effort by Volvo and Geely. Official sources also mention that the interior of Volvo XC40 will have a large number of convenient storage niches.
The novelty shall enter the European market with a nice variety of engines to choose from: the 1.5-liter, 3-cylinder, 154 HP turbocharged engine, a pair of 2.0-liter petrol engines rated at 187 HP and 244 HP, and a pair of diesels.
What’s also interesting is that you can actually get Volvo XC40 by subscribing onto the Care by Volvo leasing plan. According to the company, all subscribers will be able to get a new car every 24 months.
