$6.5k buys you a frugal-looking, but practical Volvo motorhome

Craigslist has an open ad for a 1984 Volvo truck that its owner converted into a motorhome with still some cargo bed space left at the back. The asking price is $6,500.

Per the seller, the base vehicle is a flawlessly running, yearly maintained Volvo truck equipped with a standard inline-six turbo diesel engine. The living area was designed against a custom order of an earlier owner, who opted for a minimalist and practical living space. Nothing here says ‘luxurious’ or even ‘premium’, but you get a living room with two seats unfolding into a bed, a wall-mounted TV, a kitchen sink, a microwave, a toilet and a shower cabin. A clear water tank is present as well, and a gas heater is provided for keeping the interior warm.
