Volvo Cars has sold 763,000 vehicles worldwide in 2024, an 8% improvement over the preceding year.
The company has also managed to move 175,000 EVs, demonstrating an impressive YoY growth of 54%. According to the report, the compact-sized EX30 model was responsible for most of these sales.
As a result, Volvo saw 13% more profit last year – €1.37 billion in monetary terms.
Moving forward, the Swedish automaker plans to release at least three new cars this year. One of them is the ES90 sedan, another one is the EX60 SUV and the third one is an unannounced plug-in hybrid for China. Two facelifts are planned, including for the XC60 shown in the gallery below.
The all-electric Volvo EX60 will be the company’s first production vehicle to benefit from a new platform called SPA3. It will later find use in at least two other cars.
