Volvo could obviously not arrive at China’s largest automotive trade fair empty-handed, so it presented a luxury special edition of its all-electric SUV, the EX90. Care to take a closer look?
Whereas the conceptual EX90 had a glass partition separating the passenger cabin from the trunk, the Excellence gets rid of it. The box at the rear row has also been simplified, and there are no more tables or displays. The second-row seats support heating and massage functions, but not ventilation. The reason is in the trim materials – the company has switched to using eco-leather in combination with premium fabric containing wool strands. Inside, there is contour ambient lighting all around and an advanced Bowers & Wilkins audio system.
Powering the luxury SUV are dual motors jointly rated at 517 PS (510 hp / 380 kW). A full battery yields 650 km (404 miles) of range.
