First Volvo EX90 buyers to get feature-incomplete cars

Right before starting the deliveries of its EX90 electric flagship, Volvo has issued a warning to the owners that the vehicles will arrive to them lacking important multimedia features announced before, as well as certain safety and battery management features.

An over-the-air software update will be released later to patch up these issues. According to a Volvo representative, the company ran into certain technological challenges while trying to implement the next-gen features it had actively advertised.

We are told that only the software part is concerned, and that an OTA fix will be enough to bring the early-produced EX90 examples up to spec.
