The Swedish automotive concern Volvo has officially scheduled the worldwide debut of its next-gen V60 wagon for a dedicated event held on February 21st, 2018.
The company has also published a teaser video of the new car – but there isn’t much to be seen there except for a new radiator grille and some of the rear. The interior has hardly been shown at all.
The next generation of Volvo V60 cars is going to utilize a shorter chassis than the current model. It’s likely to be released with a palette of turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines. A model with a hybrid drivetrain is expected as well.
The Volvo V60 isn’t the only major premiere by Volvo in 2018. A new V60-based SUV and a long-anticipated S60 sedan update will also debut this year.
