Volvo shows the updated V60

Volvo has held a special event in Stockholm, Sweden, centered on the next-generation update of its V60 estate car. The presentation took place only two weeks ahead of the Geneva motor show.

The refreshed vehicle is based on a new modular platform and has slightly larger dimensions than its current version. It also sports a new exterior which looks angular and edgy.

The 2018 Volvo V60 gets a wide engine lineup consisting of gasoline engines ranging from 225 to 275 horsepower and diesel varying between 135 and 165 hp. A hi-end hybrid V60 is also going to be released with either 340 or 390 hp under the hood, depending on the modification.

The manufacturer says the updated vehicle comes equipped with multiple modern safety and assistance-oriented features that should make a driver’s life easier.

Sales of the new 2018 Volvo V60 will initially launch in Great Britain with prices starting at £31,810.
