Spy photographers have delivered once again, spotting an updated Volvo V90 estate/wagon running road tests.
The V90 is the third vehicle in the manufacturer’s 90 range, which already includes the XC90 and the S90. It has been around since 2016, so perhaps a facelift is due.
The test camouflage succeeds in concealing all minor detail from view, but it doesn’t take a pro to see that the exterior changes are minimal. In fact, the bumpers seem to be the only slightly redesigned parts. This is with what the Swedish marque did with the XC90, at any rate.
Technical changes may prove much more extensive than that, however. For instance, there is a fairly good chance of the new V90 receiving Volvo’s new regenerative brake system that would reduce fuel consumption by around 15%. A hybrid version of the car is also entirely possible.
