Have you heard that Mercedes-AMG will soon have to hush up its entire sports car range to fit into the newest noise pollution standards? Many of us were saddened with the news. Luckily, there are always car tuners around who do not feel like playing by the same rules.
Heico Sportiv does not currently have any options for the Mercedes-AMG cars, but it does have something for Volvos. Last year, the German parts shop launched a 21-inch wheel set and a lowering kit for the XC40. A few days ago, it added a stainless-steel, cat-back exhaust system to the list.
Both the Volvo XC40 T4 and T5 are supported, and while you may opt for new oval exhaust tips, you may just as well stick to the stock trapezoid ones. Regardless of the choice, the engine soundtrack will be enhanced dramatically. If you pay for the valve control feature, you will be able to switch between presets using a dedicated button.
A similar exhaust kit is also available for the Volvo V90CC.
