Volvo quietly updates the XC40

Photos of the 2022 Volvo XC40 have already been uploaded to official car configurators of select dealerships in Europe, but the company itself has yet to announce the facelift on official terms.

As you can see, the changes are scarce at best. The front bumper and headlights were restyled to be more in line with those of the coupe-like C40 Recharge EV. The wheels are likewise new, and the LED taillights in the back boast new patterns. In the cabin, though, new dashboard trim choices seem to be the only noteworthy update.

In Europe, the current-gen XC40 ships with a variety of turbo engines and hybrid powertrains rated from 129 PS (127 hp / 95 kW) to 262 PS (258 hp / 193 kW).
