Tuners help the 2022 Volvo XC60 discover its sportier aspects

Volvo tuner Heico Sportiv has unleashed an extensive tuning program for the recently facelifted XC60 crossover SUV. Let us see what is new and exciting.

Visual modifications are immediately noticeable in and around bumper air intakes, side winglets, the front splitter and the wheel arches. The rear diffuser housing quad exhaust tips is also new. Buyers can specify all elements to be finished to match the car body or to contrast with it. For the exhaust, you can opt for a Selected Sound system and get a variety of tunes to switch between.

The flared fenders now cover 21- and 22-inch Volution wheels wrapped in widened tires. The OEM air suspension drops height by 30 mm (1.2”) thanks to a software tweak.

Interior novelty includes a stylish steering wheel, aluminum pedal pads, branded floor mats and Heico badges all around. What we like about the styling is how subtle it is in most places, enhancing the Volvo aesthetic rather than clashing with it.

Last but hardly least, Heico Sportiv offers an ECU tune for the non-hybridized XC60. The resulting output amounts to 220 PS (217 hp / 160 kW) and 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque. Tuned like this, the car shaves one full second off its sprint time and hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in 9.4 seconds.

All components are ready to order. The full package will set you back more than €20,000, but you can as well buy individual components.
