Chinese automaker Voyah, which already has an SUV named Free and a minivan called Dream in its portfolio, has come to the Shanghai show with a large battery-electric saloon dubbed Passion. Some of the specifications remain to be revealed, but we already know that the car sprints 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.8 seconds.
The Voyah Passion is locally known on its domestic market as Voyah Zhuiguang. Its dimensions in millimeters are given as 5,088 х 1,970 х 1,505 with three meters between the axles. The dash panel has three 12.3-inch displays built into it, and the HVAC control panel is sensor-based, too. Rear seat occupants get their own multimedia touchscreen.
Powering the original Zhuiguang EV are two motors jointly rated at 510 PS (503 hp / 375 kW) and 730 Nm (538 lb-ft) of torque. The new Passion model has the same peak torque and launch time, so the power output must be the same or very close, too.
Customers can choose from two battery sizes. 82 kWh gives you 483 km (300 miles) of range, while 109 kWh nets you a superior 608 km (377 miles), WLTP-rated.
