Voyah’s premium Zhuiguang saloon is now available on its domestic market of China with a three-motor hybrid powertrain rated for 1,227 km (762 miles) of continuous driving, AutoHome reports.
Compared to its fully electric counterpart (see video), the range-extender hybrid has a normal radiator grille instead of a solid panel at the front, but otherwise looks identical to it.
A 1.5-liter internal combustion engine under the hood produces 136 PS (134 hp / 100 kW), but is not connected to the wheels. The propulsion is handled by a pair of electric motors installed one per axle, with 177 PS (175 hp / 130 kW) at the front and 218 PS (215 hp / 160 kW) at the rear.
The battery holds 43 kilowatt-hours of juice. Voyah promises up to 260 km (161 miles) of range in all-electric mode.
