Voyah gets ready to reveal its third production car, an electric sedan

The Voyah Zhuiguang will hit the spotlight on Thursday, December 15, 2022.

The all-electric four-door vehicle is 5,088 mm long, 1,970 mm wide and 1,515 mm tall with 3 meters between the axles. A profile view makes it look more like a liftback than sedan. The rear end boasts a pop-up spoiler.

The car utilizes a platform that lends itself to three kinds of drivetrains: battery-electric, range-extender hybrids and hydrogen fuel cell-based. It looks like the BEV will be the first to debut.

In this configuration, the newcomer will pack two electric motors rated at 218 PS (215 hp / 160 kW) at the front and 292 PS (288 hp / 215 kW) at the rear. The combined output maxes out at 510 PS (503 hp / 375 kW). The top speed is capped at 210 km/h (130 mph). The company has not revealed battery size and range data yet, but pointed out that 10 minutes of high-voltage charging would be enough to replenish up to 230 km (143 miles) of range.

The name ‘Zhuiguang’ is provisional and liable to change later on. It is possible that the car debuts under this name in China and gets an export name for the rest of the world. So far, the Voyah brand has two production cars in its portfolio, named the Free and the Dreamer.
