Great Wall will be adding a serious, body-on-frame off-roader to its Wey lineup in 2021 or later.
It will be the consortium’s first true SUV that’s not a crossover (watch the video for a look at the Wey GT Pro exhibited at Frankfurt IAA).
The vehicle is currently only known under its provisional index: P01. It will be developed based on the Haval H9 chassis, which features per-wheel suspension at the front, a solid beam at the rear, and AWD with reduction gear.
Based on the teaser pics published thus far, the car gets round headlights, robust-looking bumpers and extremely wide arches.
