China-based SUV manufacturer Tank has patented the final production version of its 700 model, the third car it will be making after becoming a standalone brand.
The concept debuted a couple of years ago (see video). The resulting SUV shown here looks close to it, but simplified in a number of ways. At 5,090 mm (198.9 in) long and whopping 2,061 mm (80.5 in) wide with 3,000 mm (117.2 in) of wheelbase, the model is rather bulky.
There are two standard wheel diameters: 20 and 22 inches. The off-roader features a body-on-frame build and utilizes a 3.0-liter petrol V6 turbo in tandem with a full-fledged off-road transmission. The wheels receive up to 360 PS (355 hp / 265 kW).
The full reveal remains scheduled for this spring.
