Wey, a premium vehicle brand owned by Great Wall, revealed its upcoming SUV Lanshan at the Guangzhou Auto Show in late 2022, but hasn’t shown us the interior until now. There are three displays at the front and leather upholstery with aluminum and wooden details. AutoHome says the sales should begin later this year.
The diagonal sizes of the screens remain to be revealed. They are all built into the multi-layered front panel alongside air vents. The image on the infotainment touchscreen lets us suppose that the drivetrain supports multiple modes, including for driving on snow, dirt and sand.
The climate controls are physical, and more buttons can be found on the steering wheel spokes. There is a transmission shifter under the wheel, while the center tunnel stays largely vacant with only a miscellanea compartment, a wireless charging pad and concealed cup holders in it.
The version announced thus far is a premium-looking six-seater with two individual second row seats. It is unknown whether the wallet-friendlier seven-seat alternative will be offered anytime soon.
On the outside, the vehicle measures 5,156 x 1,980 x 1,805 mm large with 3,050 mm of wheelbase. Its powertrain is based on a 1.5-liter turbo mill assisted by an electric system for a total of 410 PS (404 hp / 302 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. The sprint succeeds in 4.9 seconds, and the range exceeds 1,200 kilometers (745 miles) with the main engine used as a range extender.
