China-based Great Wall Motor Corporation has prepared another version of its Tank 300 SUV for domestic launch, Autohome reports highlighting the particularly rugged nature of this new version.
Judging by the photos, the car gets a snorkel, an elaborate front bumper, a roof rack, beadlock wheels finished to match the body, different fender flares, a radiator grille with a large model badge on it, and a tow hook.
The currently available Tank 300 uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine in tandem with an eight-speed A/T to drive the wheels with 227 PS (224 hp / 167 kW) and 387 Nm (285 lb-ft) of torque. The new version is unlikely to have more than this.
Pricing for the original version lies within 195,800 – 308,000 Chinese Yuan. New prices remain to be announced.
This is not the first time Great Wall puts a spin on the Tank 300. In 2021, the company debuted the Cybertank 300 (see video), which sported G-Class looks and revised suspension. It also produced a version called Ranger, which got a winch and adjustable shocks.
