The joint enterprise of SAIC-GM-Wuling has released the first images of its next production car, the Wuling Nebula. We saw its patent images last fall, so not much is new.
In terms of size, the crossover SUV is comparable with the Honda CR-V or Subaru Forester. It is 4,610 mm (180 in) long, 1,810 mm (70.7 in) wide and 1,670 mm (65.2 in) tall. That said, a rounded, curvy body makes it look like a compact.
The radiator grille has 272 built-in LEDs capable of displaying small images or improvised light shows. For the drivetrain, the company plans to use a 2.0-liter non-turbo engine rated at 136 PS (134 hp / 100 kW) assisted by an unspecified electric motor.
The full reveal remains scheduled for the next month.
