Young Chinese carmaker Xpeng will be bringing a large all-electric SUV named the G9 to the market in late 2022, starting with China but focusing on an international release.
All we have to go by in the meantime are these exterior images – no cabin, no technical specifics. The company claims the SUV will support quick charging and will get 200 km (124 miles) of range from 5 minutes standing plugged into a high-power terminal.
From the technological point of view, the G9 makes use of the company’s latest X-EEA platform supporting many innovative features, including an SAE Level 4 self-driving system. Self-diagnosis, broadband Internet connection, over-the-air updates and other similar features are also supported.
