In a major step towards conquering world markets, young Chinese automaker XPeng has delivered the first batch of all-electric cars it made in Guangzhou, China, to Norway.
The startup firm produces a performance sedan named the P7, which many observers compare with the highly popular Tesla Model 3. The model has recently gained a special version called Wing, which brought along gull-wing doors equipped with radars to prevent collisions with obstacles.
The standard single-motor version has a 266-PS (262-hp / 196 kW) motor on the rear axle and offers around 670 kilometers (416 miles) of NEDC-rated range. A high-performance dual-motor spec adds a front-mounted electric engine rated at 163 PS (161 hp / 120 kW) and covers 562 km (349 miles) on a charge.
