Shots of the Xpeng X9 interior leaked several days ahead of its official debut in China suggest that the marque’s first production minivan has an unusually clean and minimalistic dashboard.
There is a two-spoke steering wheel and a joystick-shaped transmission lever sitting next to a small dashboard. An impressively large infotainment screen resides in the middle, while the center console has enough space for charging two smartphones wirelessly.
Other than that, there is hardly anything in sight – and hardly any physical controls, which still feels a bit new in the minivan market. The seat layout is quite typical, though, with two separate seats in the middle row offering footrests and flexible electronic adjustments.
