Amalgam, a company renowned for its painstakingly detailed, handcrafted reproductions of supercars and exotic vehicles, has launched a 1:8 replica of the Aston Martin Valkyrie. It costs £14,740 in the UK, £25 more than an entry-level Dacia Sandero.
As per the tradition, the model was designed using the British automaker’s original blueprints and under the supervision of Aston Martin designers. It took 3,000 hours to design the replica, and 300 more goes into producing just one example. Amalgam emphasizes that Aston Martin inspected and approved of the result.
Only 199 coupes and the same number of roadsters will be made. The original Valkyrie is barely more exclusive with a production run of 275 units. The price quoted above is for a Podium Green scale model with a black interior. Should you want a custom body finish and interior trim, prepare to part with £20,640.
