The all-electric Zeekr 001 liftback (see video) will soon be obtainable in a new special edition called Safari. It will come bundled with a large 140-kWh traction battery yielding up to 1,032 km (641 miles) of CLTC-rated driving range. Only 1,000 units will be made.
In its entry spec, the Safari will make do with a single electric motor rated at 272 PS (268 hp / 200 kW). The top version will pack dual motor and 544 PS (536 hp / 400 kW), reducing the sprint time to just 3.8 seconds.
Those who would like to obtain the Safari with a smaller battery will have two options: 86 and 100 kilowatt-hours. The respective ranges as reported by the manufacturer are 546 and 741 kilometers (339 and 460 miles).
Inside, the electric liftback has an 8.8-inch digital dashboard and a 14.7-inch infotainment system touchscreen.
The Zeekr 001 Safari will be sold exclusively in China.
