Kimi Räikkönen, a world champion of Formula 1, is now officially the chief performance adviser of Chinese automaker Zeekr, Helsingin Sanomat reports without mentioning any specifics.
The company is a part of Geely Group and is focused on developing premium electric vehicles. Rumor has it that Räikkönen will polish the handling and overall driving performance of the company’s 1,265-horsepower flagship, 001 FR (pictured below).
The champion is 44 years old and completed his career two years ago. His biggest F1 victory was in 2007, after which he claimed bronze in 2008, 2012 and 2018.
