The Chinese automaker has just reported setting a higher bar for the whole EV industry in terms of charging speed.
The lithium-iron-phosphate battery found in the company’s 007 sedan went from 10 to 80 percent full in 10 minutes 30 seconds. Zeekr also found that the battery could be refilled in under half an hour even when it’s as cold outside as –10 ºC (14 ºF).
It was also established that the Zeekr 007 needed a quarter of an hour to replenish enough charge for 500 km (310 miles) of driving.
