Here’s what new Zeekr 009 luxury spec looks like

Chinese automaker Zeekr has posted the first images of a new deluxe trim of its 009 minivan. CNEVpost believes that it will be sold as a standalone model named the Guanghui. The full reveal is scheduled for Friday, April 19.

Unlike the regular Zeekr 009 six-seater, which has been on sale in China for a while now, the Guanghui has only four: two at the front row and two more in the V.I.P. zone. The rear seats look exceptionally comfortable and have footrests. We would imagine power adjustments, ventilation, heating and massage being standard features, too, but the company has yet to release the details. It also looks like there are multiple audio speakers in each headrest.

A broad console separating the seats houses a touchscreen display providing access to the in-car features. Another giant display is mounted on the partition wall between the driver’s cockpit and the interior. We learned a while ago that Zeekr patented a proprietary partition design and a power mechanism for raising the display.

On the outside, the rich people’s Zeekr can be recognized by its revised faux grille at the front and blacked-out décor all around. It’s still unknown whether there will be any powertrain differences, but AutoHome claims citing its own sources that it will be massively more powerful than the stock 009 model. The latter utilizes a pair of e-motors joining their efforts for 544 PS (536 hp / 400 kW) and costs from 500,000 to 588,000 Yuan. You can take a closer look at it in the video.

Specifically, AutoHome says the Guanghui trim will pack roughly 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW). We should find out whether it’s true on Friday.
