Chinese automaker Zeekr has presented the most luxurious trim version of its 009 minivan yet. Called the Glory Edition, it starts from 789,000 Yuan – whole 200,000 Yuan above the previous top spec, AutoHome.cn reports.
The exterior looks more or less standard, until you notice a blacked-out grille, chrome décor all around and new 20-inch wheels giving off Mercedes-Maybach vibes. A LiDAR hump on the roof means you can get decent self-driving performance.
We reported a while ago that the new 009 would have deluxe ventilated seats with built-in massagers and leg supports. The company has now disclosed the full equipment list, mentioning a 43-inch display, a pop-up partition between the driver’s cabin and the rest of the interior, two safes with electronic locks, a smart fridge, dimmable windows and a satellite link. State-of-the-art cybersecurity measures are also on the list.
Like its peers, the Zeekr 009 Glory Edition uses two electric motors for propulsion. It does get a healthy power boost – from 544 PS (536 hp / 400 kW) to 788 PS (777 hp / 580 kW). As a result, the minivan sprints to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.9 seconds. It can also reach 230 km/h (143 mph) in a straight line.
The battery pack is rated at 702 km (436 miles) per charge. Charging from an 800-volt source replenishes the battery from 10 to 80% in 11 minutes 30 seconds.
The shipments will begin on May 19, 2024.
