A special edition of the Zotye E200 EV, named Pro, has gone on sale in China. The new hatchback costs U.S. $9,600 to buy, if you include the tax subsidies.
Compared to the base version, the Zotye E200 Pro has a significantly larger battery (32 kWh, as opposed to 24,5 kWh). This enables it to travel as far as 300 km (186 mi) on a single charge. The base version has a NEDC driving range of only 165 km (103 mi).
On the inside, the all-electric hatchback features a 10” sensor-enabled dashboard display which serves as the multimedia interface, climate control and application dock.
The engine compartment of the special edition still holds the same 82hp / 61 kW strong electric motor, which can accelerate the vehicle to 120 km/h (75 mph) at most.
The options list includes airbags, LED lighting, ABS and ESP.
