Several photos of the next-generation Zotye T600 SUV have leaked online and are now spreading across the car media. The car itself won’t be released until closer to the end of 2018.
Based on the leaked images, the front part of the SUV looks styled after the T600 Coupe. There are the same C-pillar inserts, the same headlight shape and the same low roof. Only the front bumper looks different.
The interior of the new Zotye T600 is where most of the novelty is concealed. There is an all-new dashboard, a climate control unit, a digital instrument panel and an infotainment system with a quasi-floating, touch-enabled widescreen display.
According to unconfirmed sources, the updated crossover is 4,691 mm (15.4 ft.) long, 1,893 mm (6.2 ft.) wide and 1,696 mm tall (5.56 ft.) with 2,807 mm (9.2 ft.) wheelbase.
The engine palette remains unknown, but the vehicle will most likely be strictly front-driven. The predecessor model shipped with a choice between two turbocharged gasoline engines, a 1.5L with 162 hp / 121 kW and a 2.0L with 190 hp / 140 kW. Both could work in conjunction with manual or semi-automatic transmission.
Zotye does not plan to release its new T600 SUV outside of China. Preorders will open soon.
