Bugatti produces a flowery Mistral for a female driver

An anonymous client commissioned a very special variant of the Bugatti Nistral roadster from the automaker’s Sur Mesure division. It received a unique makeover in Provence lavender tones and Parisian flower ornaments. The company called it “a car of remarkable beauty and individuality,” and we can see why.

The exterior of the ultra-luxury roadster received an exclusive chameleon finish capable of changing its hue from purple through violet all the way to lavender, depending on the light angle. Exposed carbon weave can still be seen through the paint, and the ornament on the rear wing is hand-applied by a professional artist.

A peek inside reveals a pristine white leather trim with purple accents and more floral motifs. The gear selector sports a see-through glass top tinted with a lavender hue. If you look closely, you’ll see a dancing elephant figure embedded in it – the original Bugatti emblem dating back to the 1930s. As for the door panels, they were embroidered with ornaments looking like flower petals carried by the wind when the car is driven.

All power continues to come from Bugatti’s standard W16 dialed to 1,600 PS (1,579 hp / 1,177 kW). Based on the Chiron hypercar chassis, the Mistral reportedly started from $5,000,000 at launch, but we cannot begin to fathom how much more expensive this Sur Mesure edition is.
