Hyundai Palisade sprouts a trio of special editions in Korea

Customers in South Korea can already purchase the 2027 Hyundai Palisade in a blacked-out “Black Ink” spec, a mildly-rugged XRT spec, and a High Roof spec whose name speaks for itself.

Starting with the Palisade Black Ink (see video), it improves upon the Calligraphy trim with black exterior trim bits, matching 21-inch rims, and a darker interior. It also gets the automaker’s Preview suspension complete with adaptive shocks, and can be optioned with the VIP Package 2 for extra HVAC and phone charging functionality.

In turn, the XRT gets a new radiator grille, 20-inch five-spoke wheels, roof rails and what looks like plastic undercarriage guards. Trim-wise, this spec always comes with ventilated middle-row seats and a Bose audio system.

Last but not least, the Palisade High Roof actually raises the ceiling by 240 mm (9.4 inches). The SUV grows up to become 2,004 mm (78.9 inches) tall, but remains just short enough to fit inside most of Japan’s underground parking lots, Nissan claims, reassuringly.

Those going for the standard 2027 Hyundai Palisade get a new curved infotainment display, a 12.3-inch digital dashboard, and extended electronic safety features, among other minor updates.
