Maextro, a car brand co-founded between JAC Group and IT giant Huawei in China, has released a handful of photos showing its next production car – a sedan named the S800. It is slated to go on sale in a few months.
The images reveal a premium four-seater with two extra-comfortable back row seats trimmed with diamond-stitched perforated leather. The seat on the right-hand side comes with a small pop-up table adorned with metal and wood.
A partition between the rows houses a slide-out box, a wine glass holder and a mini fridge. The headliner boasts a starry sky ornament, but it only occupies around a half of the roof, with the other half sporting a sun hatch.
Maextro says that the V.I.P. clients representing the target audience of the car will be able to access all of its features from a dedicated touchscreen. The doors house power seat controls, ambient lights and round speakers of what we are told is a high-end audio system.
At the front end, a giant multimedia display occupies the entire dashboard. It is divided in three sections: instruments, infotainment, and front passenger’s screen. Two more rectangular displays can be seen in the doors. They are a part of the standard equipment list, because the S800 has no traditional rearview mirrors. The transmission selector is lever-shaped and sits on the steering column.
