Wrangler & Bronco get an automatic soft top option

Aftermarket specialist Bestop has announced a power soft top for the Jeep Wrangler and Ford Bronco. Unlike the OEM offerings and some of the company’s previous designs (see video), the eTop is fully automatic, rising and lowering at a push of a button.

The vendor claims the mechanisms are robust enough for 10,000 cycles of folding and unfolding. The roof material is water-repellant and resistant to UV radiation. The vinyl windows in it are 27% tinted for comfort, and the whole thing comes with a 2-year warranty.

There is no mention of a price, but it’s worth mentioning that Bestop has recently acquired myTop, another convertible top vendor. It had a very similar-looking roof listed for just under $5,000. The eTop will likely cost about as much.
