Toyota sends A90 Supra off with one last refresh and a special edition

The 2025 Toyota Supra is coming to us in the spring alongside a GT4-inspired Final Edition spec meant to say goodbye to the current generation (A90).

Starting with the standard sports car, it comes with rebalanced shock absorbers, heavy-duty stabilizers and rear subframe supports, as well as recalibrated power steering. The differential is said to perform better in the new version, and the Brembo brakes at the rear end make use of larger discs. There are extra aerodynamic parts across the whole body, including new standard trims at the front and a rear spoiler. Leather and Alcantara still dominate the interior.

As for the Supra А90 Final Edition, it is being advertised as Toyota’s street-legal take on the hardcore track-bound GT4. It comes equipped with KW suspension, performance brakes with reinforced lines, and a much more rigid body structure. The wheels measure 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the back. They also feature a special lightweight design and come wrapped in 10% wider-than-stock Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

The Final Edition also boasts an exclusive body kit that notably includes a large rear wing. It has carbon-backed Recaro seats in the cabin, and while both are trimmed with Alcantara, the driver’s seat is highlighted in red.

A 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine under the hood pumps out 435 PS (429 hp / 320 kW) and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque in this version, a sizable improvement over the standard 387 PS (382 hp / 285 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft).

Only 300 such vehicles will be made. Toyota calls the Final Edition “the evolutionary pinnacle” of this Supra generation. Oh, and if you want automatic transmission, the “normal” A90 should be your choice: the limited series goes strictly manual.
