Honda considers going upmarket with high-performance cars
The Japanese brand feels that there is still space in its lineup for vehicles sportier than the existing Type R and Type S.
If the new high-end range gets approved, it may debut under the name HRC (short for Honda Racing Corporation). They may borrow a number of components from Honda’s actual racecars.
In the same announcement, the company confirmed that it would be releasing racecar-inspired aero kits for drivers to buy and install on their own. It neglected to mention when the sales may start in Japan and abroad.
