Nissan Pathfinder 40th Anniversary Edition Arrives Next Month

The 2027 Nissan Pathfinder will introduce a Special Edition trim to mark its 40th anniversary. This new trim will feature a black-and-burgundy interior, referencing the first-generation model's upholstery. The Special Edition will also include 20-inch wheels, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, and a panoramic sunroof.

Inside, the two-tone black-and-burgundy upholstery will cover the seats and door panels. An embossed graphic on the passenger-side dashboard will highlight the Special Edition trim and the Pathfinder's debut date. Exterior details include burgundy-lined upper air intakes on the grille, a C-pillar badge mirroring the interior graphic, and burgundy accents on the rear Pathfinder lettering.

The Special Edition will be powered by a 284-hp 3.5-liter V-6 engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. While standard Pathfinder trims can tow up to 3,500 pounds, the Special Edition includes an upgraded towing package that increases the capacity to 6,000 pounds.

The front-wheel-drive Special Edition will start at $48,965, with the all-wheel-drive version beginning at $50,965. The 2027 Pathfinder models, including the Special Edition, are scheduled to go on sale next month.
