According to a number of unofficial media reports from France, Renault will send its Arkana SUV to a permanent retirement next year.
The Arkana is still a fairly new model on the market, having been introduced in 2021 and only refreshed once in 2023. It is currently being made in South Korea and exported to the other regions.
Allegedly, Renault decided to axe the SUV due to it being non-compliant with the upcoming Euro-7 emission standards. Making it compliant would cost too much, and the company is reportedly looking to trim down its bloated SUV lineup anyway, so getting rid of a model or two won’t hurt.
