Pagani swears off hybrids, calls them “a waste of time”
Horatio Pagani, the boss of Pagani Automobili S.p.A., said in his latest interview that his supercar company won’t bother with making any hybrids.
He admitted that he found part-electric drivetrains “a waste of time and funds”. He explained that the company had spent a while developing one – only to find out that its customers were not interested.
For our part, we’d just like to point out that brands such as Bugatti, Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren can all provide counter-examples. Then again, maybe the Pagani brand wants to stand out from the crowd.
