Suzuki Jimny enlists with the police Down Under

The Suzuki Jimny refuses to leave the market of Australia, and even has a police version there as of this week.

Dubbed the Sergeant Jim, the vehicle seen here will be used to patrol Macquarie Island. It wears a bright livery that we are told should blend nicely into the environment and has five doors. Since we have no videos of this particular version, you can check out the regular Jimny XL in the attached video review.

A Jimny might not make the fastest pursuit vehicle, but according to the police officer who took delivery of this example, it won’t engage in any pursuits.
