Toyota unveils bZ7 EV

The all-electric Toyota bZ7 saloon that debuted at the Shanghai expo today is still a concept, but a production version is coming to the showrooms within a year.

There are no technical details yet. Toyota says it’s a large car at 5+ (16.4+ feet) long and loaded with modern driving aids. Judging by what looks lika a LiDAR on the roof, it’s going to be at least SAE Level 2+.

Interior highlights include a large infotainment display, a digital dashboard, ambient lighting, a HUD and a wireless phone charger. The trim largely consists of perforated natural leather with fake wood accents.
